This challenge will have ZERO swapping in it. It is strictly created to try to get some finishes on our swap blocks! You may join in at any time and you can finish any number of quilts or other projects you wish in each quarter but the hope is to complete at least one each quarter!
Here is how it works:
* sign up quarterly. This will prompt you to have accountability!
*make goals!! Be willing to post your goals each quarter and do your best to follow through!
* choose your blocks for the quarter! It can be blocks we have swapped or even ones you have just had setting around forever!
* be prepared! Whether it is scrappy or perfectly chosen have it ready to go. Choose a setting!
*share ideas to help others move forward! Sometimes the hardest part of this is deciding on a setting. Let's help each other by sharing ideas!
* be prepared to post progress and hopefully pictures if you are able!
* the main goal is to get all the way to a finished quilt!! Binding and all! Or if you prefer you may use the blocks to complete some other project such as table runners, place settings or bed runners.
But even if you are only able to get to the quilt top stage at least it's not a pile of blocks!!
************** HAVE FUN!! *************
This is the main thing! When it stops being fun you stop making progress! Lets keep it fun. You never know I may add prizes in here at some point!
Oh that's so pretty!!! I love it.
Beautiful! I have wanted to do a jelly roll, but love the idea of adding appliqué. This will be on my third quarter list!
Love this! The large flowers take it to the next level! What girl wouldn't love this?! I know I would!
Oh this is beautiful, Connie. What a great idea to use up the strips and just add some type of embellishments to the quilt top. Love the flowers.
Thank you she loved it
That is so pretty. Great use of the large flowers and cool idea.
Thank you. Hey there girl :))
OK, have been catching up on some things. finished 16 coasters that just needed to be sewn shut and quilted (and threads buried). Bound a table runner, quilted 2 others. Still working on my Sgt Peppers - have to bury threads and bind for 2 and find the right sashing and backing for the other two. I will post pictures later this week for most of this. Still working on the turquoise project. Some projects are so easy to start and hard to finish.
I have the center of my Diamonds Jubilee top completed. I am going to add 2 borders to get it to a larger queen size. Hopefully I can start quilting it this week. .I am trying to complete this quilt and a new one I started a couple weeks ago so I can deliver them to friends of ours in NC when we visit in July. The colors are supposed to look like a sunset.
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Just gorgeous!!! Love the colors!
This is stunning. On my radar but way out there.
