I love coming to Paducah to the quilt show but will be missing out this year.  We always go to Patti's in Grand Rivers for one special dinner.  It's decorated so beautiful with quilts.  Wear comfortable shoes and just go non stop, you can rest when you get home.  I usually stay a week but 3 days would do too if you didn't take any classes.  I usally take in the Market House Theater one week-end and don't miss going to Caryl Fallert's place.  Her fabric is to die for.  If you can't find a hotel in the area, call the visitors center and stay in someone's home.  It works out very well.  Plan on having one strawberry shortcake with ice cream from the Boy Scouts, it's always good.   Try to eat at the Churches as they serve good food and it's their fund raiser.  Grace Episcopal can't be beat and you can buy their recipe for a dollar.  I think the lace makers will be there also.  All I can say is have fun there's lots to do all over town.  Try not to miss a thing.  Oh yes, go to the show at least a couple of times and walk the opposite direction inside.  Funny what you think you've not seen before.  Have fun.

I can't wait to get there.  Our guild takes 2 buses and we just get to relax, enjoy the scenery and play games.  We have a lunch and 1 dinner at area churches and it is really great.  Our man Dallas Green puts it all together for us, he's the  BEST!

I will be attending my 27th show this year.  It would be my 28th, but we didn't know about the first show.  It is amazing to see all the changes theough the years.

I am so lucky because I live only 20 minutes away. My cousin always comes from Michigan and we take it all in. I am looking forward to this year's quilt show. No water this year. Last year we were planning on building an ark!

First time to attend and staying three days.  Looked for hotel rooms and all are taken!!  Have good friends who have invited my husband and I to stay with them so that is even better.  Looking forward to all the sights, sounds and information.

I am committed during the school year.  Too far to drive therefore I'd have to fly,

rather save the fare money for a summer flight.  More fun, of course, with a friend. Being widowed there seems to be shortage of companions. Oh well!

Thats life.  Enjoy the show everyone.  Wish I could be there.
