lollol....i popped in a while back too. the weather channel & cnn...frightening images & projections. i have gotten to know & enjoy corresponding w many of the missouri members on the "outside"...wanted to express good luck etc.

my maternal grandmother raised me. she and all the family that eventually followed her west + some that didn't. gr & grgr aunts, cousins etc are all still in missouri. people have asked me all my life what part of the south i am from. good friend and fellow nurse used to affect the WORST imitation of a southern drawl and say "oh! she's from the deep DEEP south! yup! south L.A.!" course my wise cracking friend didn't get YHAT right either! lollol

I figured my Dad was from Missouri so that was close enough for me so that is why I joined but also to put in my two cents.
