The Quilt Whisperer
This quilt was done for the 2012 Leavenworth, WA quilt show challenge - and won a 2nd place ribbon. The theme of the challenge was "Fields of Fabric" and the challenge fabric was realized in the flower motifs in the right foreground. I live in the mountains in Oregon and look out on mountains and forests and distant farmlands. The challenge theme had me imagining those farmlands as crops of fabrics and of a woman looking out and whispering the fabrics into quilts.
