Daughter just left to go camping with grandparents for the next 4 days....I work tomorrow and then off the weekend...maybe, just maybe, I can finish binding the quilt in the machine right now and do some small projects to sell at the craft shop........just maybe..........

Daughter and I decided to try some drawstring bags in various sizes....planning on doing a couple while she is gone so I can show her what to do.....they should be really simple, so her 10 yr old "I have the attention span of..oh look a butterfly" mind can churn a few out and she can feel like she;s done something......she's 10 and a tomboy just starting to retry her girly side...so staying inside chained to a sewing machine holds appeal for about 5 minutes..lol

i'm probably going to try to do some placemats and maybe quilted coasters.....the small stuff seems to sell, the shop owner says....just no luck with the quilts any of us have placed with her yet.....maybe just too warm and shop too new.....we'll see......

well, better go get cracking on something besides this computer....Facebook never gets anything accomplished in this house.......LOL
