Friday night and I just finished hand sewing the binding on my last finished quilt!! In the last 2 weeks I have finished binding 3 quilts. 2 are on my guest room beds and the other is all set to give to my friend Tim who will arrive from Wisconsin for a weeks visit on Tuesday (05/28/12).
I have started a table runner for a friends wedding present that I hope to finish within the next couple weeks.
My quilting sister in law arrives tomorrow for a weeks visit so I will be busy with company for the next week.
My quilting friend, Minette, was here for a week and I returned to Wisconsin with her. We mapped our own private Shop Hop route through Arkansas, Missouri and Iowa. We had such fun and visited some really great shops. Our favorite was Rocking Chair Quilts in Butler, Missouri. The Ladies there were so much fun and we felt like we'd known them forever.
The weather is heating up here and I'm spending some time every day in the pool so I'm sure the quilting time will slow now, altho' when it gets too hot I hide out in my sewing room.
