Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
I made four New York Beauty blocks tonight and it wasn't so bad. Not as hard as I thought it would be and only had to tear out one block and start over. I paper pieced the middle of the blocks and then added the inner circle and the outer border. Found that if you cut the inner and outer circle if you cut them a little bit bigger than what you need it's easy to trim down and make it the correct size.
Off to the MId-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Hampton Roads, VA next week. I haven't been to the show in 9 or 10 years so I'm looking forward to it. I'm taking the bus down with the Cottonwood shop girls so that should be fun. Bus leaves the show at 7am, yuk....
