I will be starting a Bible study/block of the month class in September, and will make a quilt called Heart of the Psalms - the website is Living Threads.  The quilt they showed was in reds and greens - very pretty! - but not my colors.   So I spent a couple of hours today at Field's Fabrics in Spring Lake, MI choosing blues and yellows.  I think I'm going to be very happy with it when it's done, but of course, won't really know until it IS done! 

Here is the selection I made - let me know what you think!  That wild fabric will be the border, AND the backing!  I really love it, AND it is 56" wide, and was $5.95/yd!  BONUS!  Orange is the small border and binding, the rest are the (8) applique fabrics.  (My first applique quilt, BTW.)  Wish me luck!  I'll post more pictures as it progresses.
