So I have completed my first New York Beauty, I'll post pictures tomorrow.  So, let's review, what did we learn?  We learned that concave is easier than convex.  I'm going to try a 9 inch block next time instead of a 6 inch block, maybe bigger will be easier.   And the other thing I learned?  If I'd have known I was going to quilt this much I would have paid more attention in geometry in high school.   Whew! Convex, concave, 45 degree angles, who knew?!

Work was SO bad this week, I love my job but it is stressful......I think I'll quilt all weekend.  Wonder where that study was done that proved that hobbies make your blood pressure go down?  Wonder if they want to do that study on me!  I just went through the Hancock's catalog and I have two quilt magazines for the morning coffee.  That should reduce stress, huh?! Cold and snow coming, looking forward to hot tea, quilt magazines and fabric....
