Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
I went home to Boston last week and saw some of the baby quilts I have made for friends and family for the first time since I gifted them. They looked so different from when I gave them to them, but I loved it! It felt so good to see the colors a little faded from constant washing, use and love and the fabric all broken in and soft. Made me want to make more baby quilts! My sister has commissioned a few baby quilts for me to make for her friends with kids, and we took a trip to Joanne's while I was home (I miss Joanne's! Britex is so expensive!). She has a different taste in colors and patterns than I, and I'm looking forward to adding the scraps to my stash and trying to make them work with my preferences when I try out a few patterns from that library book I mentioned in my previous post.
