Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Got news today that Baby Quilt #2 (?), which is all girly, is DONE and ready to be picked up from the long-armer! I can't wait! I used a Moda Dogwood charm pack on the top and a pretty pink fabric from that collection for the back. Vicki (the long-armer) said she almost - almost - wanted to have a baby so she could wrap it in the quilt, so THAT makes me very excited to see it! I should have it Tuesday of next week, and will post pictures pre-and-post binding, just because I am SO excited to see it!
When I have that binding done, and the binding I sewed on Baby Quilt #3 today sewn to the back, (hopefully this weekend), all my baby quilts will be done - and none of the babies have arrived yet! YAY! I am pretty happy with my planning for those babies!
Next project has to be my son's quilt to celebrate his graduation from college. It's laid out on my design wall, just waiting for me to finish those other quilts. It has to be to Vicki by September 1. I love bright colors and funky patterns, so this one is not calling to me to "get it done". Pretty straight forward, but I have to see if it will be possible - but not too expensive - to have embroidery done on the brown border. Quite a long statement by Dr. B.J. Palmer on chiropractic medicine, so probably too expensive. We'll see. Did I post that yet? Here it is:
