All the guys as kids got tyed quilts, cause god only knew what they were doing with them-LOLThey slept outside alot and the yard was always full of neighbor kids to. But beleive it or not they are now grown men with kids of there own and they still have those damn quilts, it is so funny.

lol...yes..exactly, tho my guy's favorite pose from the time he was about 9 was to stand jokeing about my shortness as he leaned on his elbow which rested on the top of my head! young sons are so funny and so much fun! but, he, like your guys, was always tall. and tho i only made comforters for him at first, they were long enough for an adult bed. he loved them.

Well you know, it seems everyone is in a king size bed anymore. It"s sad to give a quilt now days and not have it used cause it's to small. My four boys are big, my baby is 6'4 and about 250 lbs. Even when they were young I had to make their quilts bigger. And they would let me know to, ( Mom you want me to cover up with that or just my feet, they were always teasing me).

lollol! they do tend to grow don't they! my son's quilt ended up at 88" x 110" ...don't have my converter thingy here to give meters etc...but ...:)) by the time i added the borders it was huge! he is 6'5" ..she 5'9". so wanted the quilt large enough for thier bed. quite the long term hand quilting project i started lollol! but he & dil love the quilt & are being most patient as i make toys, fuzzy blankets & quilts for thier 2 daughters....my precious granddaughters!!
