This year I'm wanting to finish up some of the UFO's that we all seem to have lurking around the sewing rooms.  I'd set a goal and say one a month, however, am going to be realistic about it, and if I get any done, great.  If not, they'll be there for another year!!

Today the Child's Delight orange quilt is done! It was started in late 2012 so isn't one of those that's been in the sewing room for very long.  This one is going to Quilts for Kids organization.

The 16 blocks for 2013 Thimbleberries January project are all pieced along with the Air Castle block using Marty Michelle templates (another block of the month).

Next up?  Putting binding on the train quilt (another for Quilts for Kids)!

Off a sewing I go.........

I have quite a few of those too Janie... Running of the Strip kits, Shop Hop Kits, plus kits that I bought liking the quilt displayed, or maybe I just bought the fabrics to make certain quilts.... To me those aren't UFO's, however, I would like to dwindle those down as well!  Like last night for example, before Christmas I bought the kit to make a braided table runner.  Last night what did I do?  I started it!  It's half done right now and plan is to finish piecing it today and then quilt it and have it done and on our table for at least a month anyways!!!

I have several projects in my quilting room that are in storage containers waiting for me to put them together.  I bought them several years ago.  They are packages fabric with the patterns just patiently waiting for me to make them.  I don't think you could call them UFO's cuz I haven't started them yet.  But maybe this year I will get to them.

Just stared to work on an impressionist flower garden behind a iron gate. Not sure what I'm doing or how big the finished quilt will be, so it is a work in process. Wish me luck I'll post a picture soon.

Also starting an other donated antique quilt top (grandma's flower garden) with a few friends. The top was made in about 1930 and will be sold or autioned off and proceeds given to an non-profit org.

Also may have an order for a quilt. The pattern should be quick and easy;stars and stripes.
