Oh my...only one week left to get things done! While I help answer the phones, the “show girls” are busy packing their goodies to load on the truck. This is always a hectic but fun time in the office. We always get excited before a show. New quilts to see, new quilters to meet, friends to greet, new things to buy! I've made my shopping list, have you made yours? See you in Lancaster!

Today at AQS we are working on all the last minute things for the Lancaster show. Everything has to be ready to load on the truck this week. Boy are we busy! Registration for Lancaster has closed. You can check on the availability of classes at the workshop desk at the show. For the first time, you can catch the show on a live webcast. Click here www.AmericanQuilter.com for more…Continue

My husband bought me a NOOK ereader for Christmas this year. I love it, but I couldn't find a cover for it that I liked. So I decide to make one. I fell in love with the fabric when I saw it at the store and decided that it would make a colorful cover. I'm going to try to upload the photo of it, if I can find it on my computer.

I'm going to try to upload photos of some of the quilts that I have made. I've never done this so we'll see if I can figure out how to do it.

Good Morning Everyone,
What a beautiful place to share, grow and make new friends. I look forward to to hearing from all who visit here.
I have five grandchildren, three boys and two girls. Each child has several quilts in their own possession. Not counting the number of quilts my three children have each. At the time of my first grandson I happened upon a show, Sewing and Quilting Expo in Virgina; oh let me tell you I wanted to make one of those so badly. That was in…Continue

"Be still my heart" is what I said when I heard about this exhibit. I have my own red and white quilt collection, but this is amazing and so out of the box! I organized a red and white quilt show with our Redwork Group in St. Charles, Missouri some years ago and there is nothing like seeing all the red and white graphics in one room!!
I don't think I'll make it to New York, but if any of the Quilt Place viewers get to see it, I hope you share your experience with us!
