reading quilt blogs...

i have stated rather often how much i enjoy reading anything historical. about anything. quilting, steam engines, geography, native american migratory routes/reasons - pre-european invasions.... this mornings' fare has allowed me to wander thru quilting blogs w sidebar links to reproductions of antique cross stitch samplers, interior decorating with junk, even found a couple more… Continue

Sweet! On the quilt show. The first week of June I'll be off pc for a whole week, going to Sulky Teacher Cert and Zen Embroidery classes. They are alot of fun. and i get to meet up with friends from previous classes from past years. As for online chatting... I'm a big chicken, afraid to step out of my box at times. Afraid I'll make some one mad, or say the wrong thing, so i just shut up and read mostly. comment everyone once in a while. But couple weeks ago, I decided to change that. Chat more online, comment more on things posted not only here but other sites too.

Yeah, I worked outside a lot yesterday too. Clearing a flower bed, totally over taken with weeds. Mowed the lawn, 4 acres. My hands are totally shot today, sore. So going shopping today, then off to more sewing... or more on that flower bed. ugh! I'll get it done eventually. Hope you have a wonderful day at the quilt show.

I'm not much of an online chatter. You are bring me out of my shell so to speak. I'm more of an in-person kind of person. Ya'know go over each other houses, sew a bit, cook a bit, talk/laugh a lot. A brave new world out here on the net. I think, I'm hooked. LOL!

Rogue, the machine quilting group is for ANY machine work, even embroidery. That discussion isn't really a discussion area ( cause you can talk in the regular comment wall of the group) ie. that IS the separate place for links. BTW, l wonder if you could repeat your excellent instructions on posting links. There doesn't seem to be url's on the youtube sites l was referring to. Also, there are lots of tutes w/ just "stills" out there. One of the pintrest ones Carla added about "puzzel" design is one example:))
