I'm a professional quilt instructor, artist and author of three books and a DVD. I live in the USA and teach both nationally and internationally.

I'm married (for 44 years) and have two grown children and three grandchildren.

How long have you been a quilter?

Since 1991, when my sister dragged me to a beginning quilting class.

What is your favorite quilting technique?

I developed my own technique for constructing on the top surface of a quilt top. I call it my Crazy about Curves technique. This is a very simple, fun technique and best of all, there are NO "rules" to follow or errors. One can fudge their way out of any problems that come up. When one works on the top surface, the creativity is endless!

Why do you quilt?

I have no choice...the artistry and inspirations have to come out of me.. I've tried every type of art form and I love quilting the best. It is my niche.rt
