Tell us about yourself

I have always been creative. If I haven't worked with fabric, I've worked with paints, yarn, beads, etc. You name it, I've probably done it. And if I haven't done it, it's just because I haven't bought it and tried it yet. :o) Well, plus I'm too busy quilting these days. When I graduted high school I admired a friend's mother's beautiful quilts, but pushed the thought of trying it myself out of my mind because I thought the cuts were made with scissors. I have always had hand tremors so I didn't think it was possible for me. About 5 yrs ago, another friend introduced me to the rotary cutters and rulers for another project. I haven't stopped quilting since!!!

How many quilts have you made?

25 quilts, not counting various tablerunners and wall hangings, etc.

Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?

I LOVE to make and enjoy quilts!!!

What is your favorite quilting technique?

Machine piecing and quilting. Learning some needle turn applique.

Why do you quilt?

I guess because I love cutting up pretty fabric into little pieces and sewing all them all back together again. :o)
