Random thought to the powers that be on this site....It is very easy to find groups but very difficult to go back and find a discussion if you can't remember to which group it was originally posted. …Continue
"I think Gayle has a good idea with that method. I would take out the quilting stitches, applique a patch as close as you can in color, then quilt it again to secure and help it to blend in. I have done a similar patch/quilt in a quilt of mine. "
"Beth, l've just done some piecing with it so far...but had to seal off sewing room (downstairs) and cover machines while workmen used jackhammers & drills on concrete in furnace room to put in drainage system."
"Hubby will have surgery the 27th of July. That is good news, now to be patient with him till then. I think the doctor visit was more of a relief to his mind than anything. Thank you all for your continuing prayers."
"Very nice, Ethelda. The BOW I've been following is Piecing the Past quilt "The Signs of Spring". I've got all the blocks cut out and 5 blocks done. The site is starting a new quilt but I won't participate."
I have a new fat quarter and something I made for you ready to go in the mail but since you did not get the first one could you send me your mailing address so I can be sure I have the right address. So sorry you did not receive the first one as I think the card might have given you a laugh - after I made your card I looked at your address and saw you lived in Texas. The card I made had a snowman on it.
Suzanne - you asked that we contact birthday group members privately if we haven't received their fat quarter swap. I need to contact Charlotte Thompson and Angie Chappel, but I don't know how to reach them. Do you have email addresses for those two members of my group? Thanks, Nancy Burkhalter
Suzanne I love your butterfly quilt and the really bright one you have on your page. Its beautiful. Would it be possible to get the pattern for the quilt that has really bright colors in it. Its on the front of your post. Just beautiful.
