"I have a Dear Jane quilt that I want to do and a scrap log cabin. Hmmm, maybe I can think up something here. Of course, it would not have to be done by this year, maybe a whole year challenge to make one quilt with your scraps whether…"
"Actually I want to do a Sylvia's Wedding Sampler in scraps too as I think scrap quilts have a life that the perfectly matched range of fabric quilts lack. In the meantime, yes, lets scrap bust.I'm in"
"Oh WOW!!!! That is stunning. Hubby is right for sure, that is beautiful. I so love my scraps as well, that is my problem, I have them but not into quilts as they should be.
Thus, that being the question, do we have a scrap…"
"Beth, what do you mean a new challenge? Scrap busting is a PERMANENT challenge!! I do love my scrappy quilts though, my farmers wife was scrappy, I followed the colours in the book, but just used whatever fabrics and it is the most beautiful…"
"Wow Collette, two big projects you started! Farmers Wife is so pretty, but very detailed like the mystery quilt. You do have your board full.
Oh goodness Elizabeth. What were they trying to do? It is bad enough we have to…"
"Step 2 and 3 took me quite a while, but I think it would be cool to get all the units finished so I can get the blocks together. But before I put it on the design wall I need to finish up my farmer's wife. "
I have a new fat quarter and something I made for you ready to go in the mail but since you did not get the first one could you send me your mailing address so I can be sure I have the right address. So sorry you did not receive the first one as I think the card might have given you a laugh - after I made your card I looked at your address and saw you lived in Texas. The card I made had a snowman on it.
Suzanne - you asked that we contact birthday group members privately if we haven't received their fat quarter swap. I need to contact Charlotte Thompson and Angie Chappel, but I don't know how to reach them. Do you have email addresses for those two members of my group? Thanks, Nancy Burkhalter
Suzanne I love your butterfly quilt and the really bright one you have on your page. Its beautiful. Would it be possible to get the pattern for the quilt that has really bright colors in it. Its on the front of your post. Just beautiful.
