Random thought to the powers that be on this site....It is very easy to find groups but very difficult to go back and find a discussion if you can't remember to which group it was originally posted. …Continue
"I'm not familiar with a jelly roll race either. What I consider scraps are pieces 3" or smaller and or irregularly shaped but will someday be used for foundation piecing or, as I said I'd do a few years ago, do a quilt-as-you-go on a…"
"Oh how could you send me on the wonderful eye candy site of quiltville. Yep, there are some nice patterns with strips, better than just a jelly roll. Oh of course I printed some out. Now I feel better about that stack. I bet…"
"Beth another suggestion is a scrappy trip around the world. I did one with scraps and love it. The strips need to be 2.5 (like a jelly rolls) and each needs to be about 15 inches long. Here is the link to the pattern: …"
"Look for a new challenge the beginning of August. Wondering if a mystery quilt will be what you like with scraps or maybe a block swap with scraps or the jelly roll race with scrap strips. These are a few of ideas being thrown…"

I have a new fat quarter and something I made for you ready to go in the mail but since you did not get the first one could you send me your mailing address so I can be sure I have the right address. The card I made had a snowman on it.
Suzanne - you asked that we contact birthday group members privately if we haven't received their fat quarter swap. I need to contact Charlotte Thompson and Angie Chappel, but I don't know how to reach them. Do you have email addresses for those two members of my group? Thanks, Nancy Burkhalter
Suzanne I love your butterfly quilt and the really bright one you have on your page. Its beautiful. Would it be possible to get the pattern for the quilt that has really bright colors in it. Its on the front of your post. Just beautiful.
