No, Sue-Anne, the plastic cannot be quilted thru, it wouldn't save any time to make a bunch anyway. This idea is strictly what I use to "preview" various ideas. I often park 2-3 on adjoining blocks to really decide. I don't use EQ on coputor. I prefer to "shoot from the hip":)

My GFG quilt was a travel quilt too. Now I'm travelling without one, and it seems odd. Knitting is ok. , but I think I'll start another hand project. We're in Eastern Canada, travelling for 2 wk. seeing parts of country we've never been too.
