Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I have been a quilter all my life. I grew up around people quilting the old fashioned way. In college, I majored in Textile Design as an Art Major. When the quilting craze hit in the late '60s, I started teaching others in fabric stores or at quilt guilds. I joined my local guild 30+ years ago and have been an active member ever since. I have over 75 wearable art garments that I have made over the years. Now I consider myself a fiber artist. I have now given myself the freedom to create art pieces using all the many techniques I've learned over the years from hand piecing to enhanced digital imaging. I am proud to have a SABLE fabric collections and all the other "stuff" needed to create a quilt with it's own designs and borders that go beyond the dodecahedrons of space.
