Profile Information

Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
Semi-retired. Works part time at Har-Ber Village Museum in Grove, Oklahoma and I teach a BOM at The Village.I love to piece and quilt.....my favorite patterns are very traditional and use mostly reproduction fabrics. I have recently ventured out and tried some vivid prints and very edgy patterns....for the grandkids. The quilts truned out great the the kids liked them....just not my favorite style!!

What is your favorite quilting technique?
Echo quilting and Free Motion/ Home Machine
Why do you quilt?
I love the whole process of quilting because all stages trigger my creativity.

My uncle took us there when were down for a visit. Grand lake is so beautiful. I remember it well.  The only relative I still have in Fairland is a cousin, as my uncle passed away a few years ago.

I too, am retired and love to do quilting and knitting and crochet ( oh whatever) anything with fabric or yarn LOL. I tell my husband , it keeps me happy and spares him the cost of diamonds.  Hope to hear from you soon. Betty
