AH! Love the baby page picture Patricia!

I like the Animal Block of the month theme ask Carla what she thinks. I think our group should do a Batik Block Animal of the month, now that you have that new baby in your life I see a baby animal quilt!!!! Or just ask us if we would like to do a block swap.

Hi Pat are you planning to move back to Citrus Cnty? Well when you come to visit family, we will have to meet! I busted my left heel Wed. Did a bang up job on it, The ER dr thought that I would have to have surgery right away, but the podiatrist, ran a cat scan along with X-rays and I busted or tore th 3 layers of ligaments &if I stay completely off my foot the ligaments will go back to where they should be. So six wks no cutting fabric unless I can figue out how to do this with feet propped up. I was painting the master bath on the ladder, I had only cut in about a foot, when my ladder slid in the walk in shower,&I got thrown off to the other side of the bathroom floor tile. I bought Suzanne McNeills book called the 5 minute block& the 10 minute block, I watched it on You tube, I got totally excited, and was going to make a throw for my gson's twin bed, for Xmas. I hope to get it done. I was planning on practicing free motion quilting, so I could do it myself. I just don't know how to do it when I have to keep my foot propped up for 6 weeks. Anyway, I hope you have great sewing week!!

Hi Friend Patricia,

I am glad to see someone else using a few varied prints in their mystery quilt.  Hope it works for us.

I am even more excited about your husband(?) on the tractor.  We retired to 5 acres at 4,000 feet in the Sierra, so Paul has had to buy and learn how to operate a tractor.  We are on a generator and solar for power, and wells and septic tanks were a real learning curve.  Can't use the computerized machine with the generator on...so went and found a treadle.
