Deanna Davis said… I love that purple star .. that's amazing. My goal is to better my applique skills by using other than just fusible. My blanket stitch placement is a bit off on some of these curves yet LOL And I want to do reverse and actually sit down and do your horse head with your method :D
Deanna Davis said… I love how the pieced background fades behind the appliqued flowers and birds -- and the hummers ! Did you draw this freehand ? I need to learn to draw .. I suck bigtime !
Deanna Davis said… I love the links Donna sent -- tell her to add me too LOL I'm trying to cut my 'puter time -- but there is so much out there -- I love the FMQ tutorials .. the braid border is good, I'll have to wait until Doug goes back to OK to look more .. he's needing some attention :D
Deanna Davis said… But your stuff is soooo AWESOME .. you need to brag on yourself ;D
You've made some progress on 'the fog' .. how many pieces do you need for 'it' ??
Deanna Davis said… Hiya Nori -- I'm already ON here LOL
I'm in the UFO group, the baby quilts group, the featherweight group .. oh, and I've joined the group Building the American National Quilt -- you should check that one out ;D
I finished the last turtle today for my niece's daughter who had a heart transplant @ 2 months -- now to decide how to put them together ..
and I squared off a wild lone star for binding ..
And I had a wonderful morning while hubby was tinkering at home ... lots to fill you in on !
