- I have been happily married to my husband John for 30 years. We have 2 grown children. My daughter is married and we have 2 grand=daughters, Victoria (4), and Stephanie,(2). Our son Brenden is unmarried but has a partner. I have taken up Embroidery and quilting since I finished work in January 2010. i was looking for a new bed spread and couldn't find anything I liked so i thought I would make one.Now it has turned into a passion.

Hi Shirley,
Well, you're certainly getting the hang of your new machine. I have a Janome 6500 pro for general sewing that I can applique with , and a small Brother for embroidery. I like how you can combine the 2.Riana (Canada)
