"How dare a house built in 68 be old!! I was graduating from University that year. Upgrading the roof will probably mean more insulation...which will be wonderful for heating and cooling.

Hi Mary, I'm new to the site. Was reading one of comments and you mentioned a friend was going to do your 365....what is a 365? I just moved to central PA and only 1 tiny quilt shop. I'm spoiled from living in Houston TX most of my adult life, then near Charlotte NC for about 10yrs. Both had great quilt shops. Houston's International Shows were mind blowing and made me feel so inferior that I didn't make a thing for years. Finally accepted we all can do great things, just in different ways. Now, I also enjoy designing. Don't have any quilting friends here yet, but once I join guild that should change. Hope to get an expert Amish lady to teach me hand quilting. Since you have so many friends in here, do you know if anyone ever does a 10 inch sq exchange or even a fat qtr or half yard? Thanks
A wise computer person told me to just remove the Q on my keyboard, blow on it and on the board to clean it and look, I now have a working Q. I had long since forgotten my password and had to reset it. I can now find you again on this site. I will have to play around again with it, I am sure, to find the newer things. This will help till the other issue is resolved. Doubt your quilting friends will want to see my coloring projects.
Hi Mary, haven't been here for quite some time. Thought I would make 2015 a more active year here. Hope all is well with you. Have you had some of that snow stuff? Bitter cold here but not rain or snow are in our future.
Mary, I wasn't sure if I was going to get a snowman on there. I looked for my narrowest pattern and prayed. I thought I'd have to leave the little one off but managed to squeeze him on too. That was last year's snowman. I have 2 new ones for this year. I just love the folk art look of your quilt. I have a friend here this weekend for a sewing marathon and I just had to show her your quilt. She loved it!!
Wish we could have tea too. I'd make my cranberry scones. I get a lot of requests for them. I forget where you live. Indy and I had so much fun meeting Barbara and her husband when we went to my brother's in Wisconsin. Can't wait till next summer IF we go back up there.
Mary, I tried. I really did! I tried 4 different photos to change my profile pic and got an error every time! The files are much smaller than the max allowed, and one will load to the pics on my page but not on profile. I give up!
Mary - I'm not sure if it's the same artist or not but their is another picture of a little girl in the corner with her dog and the little girl is a few years older and so is the dog. I believe the dog is a collie. Your quilts bring back a lot of appreciation for the good old days.
