"figures. NOAA doesn't do any better for her than it did for me. couple weeks ago we were told "chance" of snow, nxt day said 2" of snow.... we had three days of snow w over a foot total ! lol ...NOAA said she would get 3"…"
"connie - i get up @ 5a. so to sit here waiting for light to go out and play by can get tedious. if i start sewing then i don't get out at all. i have cabin fever soooooo bad...and Psycho Pup does too. if i had just one day out to play i think…"
"very pretty connie! we had lots of sunshine today around 80 or more degree's but the dirt was so thick you couldn't enjoy it. over 40 mph winds, more tomorrow.......worse so Amarillo will be loosing their top soil to us."
"that is absolutely beautiful!! thank you!! i was standing at deck door this morning w my tea cussing daylight savings time. instead of sunrise at 6:30 now it's too dark to go out & play until at least 7:30. then as i stood and watched the…"

"You can use most any thing. Cotton batting, 2 or 3 layers of flannel, Dracon batting or what -ever that will give the look you want. I prefer a cotton batting because it resists heat, absorbs moisture, firmer to feel and give just the right amount…"
Mary, we drive our motorhome to Texas right after Christmas to enjoy a warmer than Canadian winter:) Come May l'll be back home gardening, sewing , and babysitting grandkids, but in the meantime, l play golf, walk the beach, and sew quilt tops to quilt when l'm home.
Hi Mary, I don't know how to send a friend request on here, as I don't have your email.
I would like to participate in the January cool palette block swap if you still have room. I see 9 have signed up so far. Let me know what information I need to send you. You can send me a friend request at firstname.lastname@example.org.
late response - my apologies. but you are welcome. i am a bit of a nerdy person, love learning how things work. the child that disassembled clocks and learned to pick locks now, as a senior, loves figuring out how things on the internet work :)). if you have any other probs/issues let me know. if i don't know the answer, i will eventually.
oh...and the fall blocks were great! looking forward to following the winter block swap.
mary, as i stated before, i love folowing the swaps. i don't join in, tho i would like to, but other commitments might mean i can't meet deadlines. but..just read your comment about where mary aldritch located. i also just read an in depth report on the blizzards and devestation, power outages etc that befell s dakota last weekend. even if she wasn't hit by the blizzards & heavy snows. there are thousands and thousands of widespread power outages. i looked at hill city on google earth. not that far from rapid city. so i think you may be right..mary aldritch may be temporarily, hopefully, affected by the massive storm that region experienced.
i was a bit upset by one post that seemed angry at lack of response from mary. so glad to read your more reasonable take on her unusual lack of response to address requests. she does so much. seems so nice. not like her to not respond.
hi mary. i'm not a member of the mug rug swaps, but i follow along and enjoy all the projects and photos. just read your comment to barbara about how to contact the new members of your group who sent group message instead of posting comments on group page.
go to the "members" page on the header of main page. type their names (one at a time) into the search window on left side of page just above where all members pages start to show. that will take you to link to their individual pages here at mqp. and leave them a message in their comment window as i am doing here on your page. they will get a personal email from the site w link back to your message to them. good luck. it took me the longest time to figure this all out.
