Been quilting for 30+ years mostly for charity and my 7 grandchildren. I have also made church banners for various churches in Arizona.

Definately make quilts but I enjoy them too. I love scrappy and star quilts.

It's a beautiful art form. My way of giving to charity doing something I love to do.

The afternoon was very pleasant and a surprise because Dave and Roger came to my home and spent the afternoon with me. I can't remember the last time I've had such a relaxing afternoon. They loved Indy and I think Indy loved them because he didn't growl and bark at them. Dave asked to lay down for half an hour. So Roger asked to see my gardens and Indy needed out anyway. Sneak Peak to my Remodeled Sewing Room

The moment is almost here when I can finally move back into my sewing room.  Right now I can move in the Elna, but I'm trying to figure out a way to bring in the Pfaff too. I have a friend who comes over and sews strips and/or squares for me. I.m trying to figure out if the small table will fit and still give me enough room to move around without being too constricted. . Let me explain some of the changes. I've had new windows put in. Yes, you definitely deserved to have a good time! I feel the same after attending a good quilt show. So inspired and intimidated! I have a lot to learn and in so many ways, I, too, feel like a novice, even after all these years of quiltmaking.

I love your idea on having a group from QCA, since it was or became such a small group we all really got to know each other well. Roxana is now on here too, so maybe we can get the SS over here...since she took it over and I am sure that she would need help.

Why don't you see about going the QCA group on here since you posted about this site and we are all jumping ship from the  site.  Maybe call is "QCA life raft"

Dear Linda,

You comment on the Ohio Star brought to mind one of Paul and my best trips.  We were in Cincinnati for a Nat'l Square Dance Convention.  I hadn't really been looking forward to that destination-but was so surprised at what a beautiful town it was near the convention center, river, downtown.  We went to museums, a ball game, and met so many friendly people.  And learned about buckeyes and flying pigs. The humidity didn't arrive until our last day.

When I look at Indy and your house, I see a safe haven ark; hope it works for you to stay there.

Iris' have the most personality.  I have a large bed that I must have planted too deeply.  When the ground softens, I shall retry and think of you while I work.

What bird is in the bird house?

Beth forgot to give me pins, sewing needles, and a ruler. You saved the day.

The small quilt repeats Ginny's, I like the bit of continuity.

Do wish we could have tea together.  I would even try to make Russian tea balls.

Grandkids love that you gave us snowmen.  We so need a lot of any moisture in CA.
