Garnie P. Bethea said… My neice has a degree in English and Anthropology and she's decided she wants to be a baker! She worked in a bakery to help get through college and just fell in love with it. She just graduated and now she's found a summer job working for a hotel in Vermont (she's from Washington state). I just assumed she'd be a teacher like she wanted in the beginning!
I think working in a library would be a lot of fun. I absolutely love books and research!
I'm having a lot of fun here; it's the only place I have to interact with other quilters (and I don't do facebook or anything of the like).
So, what degrees do you have? My husband never went to college, and always felt like he missed out. So, he finally decided to go and is in his second semester. We're 50 and I sure wouldn't want to be going back! Anyway, he lost his job when our local sawmill closed down and now he wants to get into auto mechanics. Financially it's killing us and he's only just begun! But I know he has dreamed of being a mechanic since we were kids. Anyway, this site is my escape from worrying and I'm really enjoying it here.
I love your photos! The "Dear God" quilt is adorable!
