"Kathy, this is very interesting, going to try it on freezer paper,I use the washable markers a lot,but to think you can trace on freezer paper then iron it on fabric seems great."

"Thank you Kathy, I am going to try this.  I usually just use the disappearing pens but they do get expensive.    I have a light box (homemade) with plexiglass.  I will post the results of my first try, wish me luck :)"

I love your trapunto work.  I have made one pillow top after taking a class and two table runners, your work inspires me to continue.

Kathy, you make me blush but I'm glad you looked at my quilts because it encouraged me to look at yours and WOW!!!

Your work is amazing so I feel that praise from you is praise indeed.  How much fun is it to have this special place to see and "talk" to others who share our love and passion.

Absolutely beautiful!  I'm afraid I failed hand quilting classes.  A good friend tried and tried to teach me, and after many attempts to keep my stitches even, I decided I am better at machine quilting.

I remember many years ago trying to learn to hand quilt, the teacher kept repeating over and over to keep the stitches EVEN!  Don't worry about the size of your stitches, just keep them even.   They eventually got smaller and smaller and then I used a smaller needle and they became smaller yet.  The key word is EVENESS!  I do it all in a 14" lap hoop.  My favorite batting is Hobbs 80/20.
