Ulmer Floor Quilt Frame

I finally finished my GFG king size quilt top. Now I want to start hand quilting. I have a large wooden hoop. The quilt is so large and cumbersome. Now I am considering a small floor hoop. Have been on line and found the Ulmer floor quilt frame. I like the looks and the fact that it is so portable.
Does anyone have this frame? If so, pros and cons?

Continue Double Wedding Ring Quilt

Now that I have finished my grandmothers flower garden quilt top and will start hand quilting a night, I decided to get back to work on my John Flynn double wedding ring quilt. I am making this quilt for my grandson Jacob when he gets married. Funny thing, he is only 7 years old and I hope to be be around when he does marry, but just in case, decided to do one now.
I have a big dilemma, I did not purchase enough of one of the fabrics. I went back to Hancock Fabrics here in…
