"Truthfully, none of my embellished quilts have gone into the laundry. Nice to know embellishments are sturdy but personally I don't like to sacrifice artistic creativity for washability (is there such a word?)."

Retired. Have taken over master suite as a quilt studio. Hubby very supportive. Belong to a couple of quilt groups. Do some charity quilting. UFO's? I love 'em and like to have several projects going at once.

That was a very old photo, say from turn of last century.
