hi jim...been wanting ask about your avatar. is that one of your projects. i sooo love it!
another of the fun things about mqp, for me at least, is seeing where every one lives. i moved quite a bit even before i joined my engineer hubs on the crisscrossing junkets back & forth across the country to new job assignments. in the bay area i have, at various times, lived in san fran (of course !! lollol), oakland, san bruno and so city. spent a lot of time in commuter traffic on bay bridge trying to get out of the city along with a few thousand other wkend escapees :)). a lot of time in traffic also, on el camino real, traveling to & from work between kaiser/permanente clinic and home in san bruno. :)) am loving your quilts in the batik swaps...the fall halloween one is great!
