hi again! i tend to drop out of mqp for things other than quilty stuff this time of year :)). i have only been "by" madras, stop to eat etc. never had a chance or time to explore the area. would like to, but we seldom go that route when heading south for family visits in northern california any more. always just grab a few days off, travel south, visit & head back north before the big snows & ice storms start. when hubs retires in a few years, exploring madras and a few other wide spots on 97 are on my wanna do list :)). i love that region of the Hwy 97 thru oregon.
you're welcome! my quilts are done pretty much the same way. once in a while i'll carefully plan -graph or eq - a quilt, but in recent years i don't have a lot of free time so my quilts are pretty much make it up as i go. quite fun actually. i tend to be a rigid, organized person. make it up as i go is great fun!!
you're in madras. been thru there many times over the years. we are in south central eastern washington now and the travel is usually fall or winter, so we go via 5 instead of 97. i saw your note about saturday market and my first thought was whoa!! looonnng drive -madras to portland. which market did you sell at?
