I have started finishing the hand quilting on a workshop piece from 2004.

In the meantime I was playing with hearts and made too many - so I have quilt labels and hearts for quick gifts down the road....I started playing with the disappearing 4 patch blocks in pinks & purples - grand daughter's favorite colors - her birthday is in June...  So I will make her a lap sized quilt...  I think I have a Problem!   The hearts were addicting and the fast completion of the 4 patch blocks is…

Hello Jancy!

I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside; I retired when I was 45 and I'm just waiting around for hubby to retire so we can get out of Oregon!  I've always lived in the southern half of the US, and I don't think I'll ever get used to all the rain!  I try to make light of it, but sometimes it really does get to me.

Anyway, I joined this site because I'm in such as small town without any guilds, quilting groups or classes and I wanted to meet other quilters.  I'm amazed how how many people I've met in the short time I've been here!  It helped that I joined several of the groups.

I've been quilting for almost 6 years and had to learn using books and the internet.  I hope that some day I can take a class.  I've heard about classes on the internet through Quilt University and I may check that out.  I'm glad for the quilting shows I get to watch on PBS!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and welcome!
