"Thanks, Erin, for hosting this swap. I received mine today. I'm sorry the creators didn't put their names and home town on the blocks so I would know from whence they came but they're all very cute. They will reside on my design wall…"
"My houses arrived today. Here is a pic of the city park with lake they will be surrounding. I plan on making cornerstone wonky blocks with a church, school, city hall, and quilt shop. Then frame them with a City name in wonky…"
"I was only 5 days late and had let you know ahead of time, they were coming---only a little late. Wish I had known you would not accept them after the 15th---I would not have worked so hard at getting them done. Breast cancer was not in…"
I hope I am not to late in sending in my winter wonky blocks. I did write last week to let you know they would be a little late. I have been diagnosed with breast cancer so that has put me a little behind. However, I have worked really hard to finish them and get them ready to send. I don't have your address so I don't know where to send them. If it is to late, can I just send them to you anyway in hopes you may do another one sometime. so sorry they were late.
Erin, well wonky houses in the mail. The postage for return is in the envelope. I simply forgot to attach it and so was able to roll it and slip it inside the envelope. It is frustrating to be so forgetful. I apologize for the inconvience.
the style/technique looks very very addicting as far as design options go...i just have this thing...how small can i go and still have it show detail & character...not into the smallest quilt ever thing...just like small ...:)) one class with sally collins ...now..hooked :)
hi erin. i had never heard of wonky house blocks till you started the swap group. so i searched the term online, and went to the pages you posted links to. they are amazing...gonna practice.. i have been following along, tho not joining (because of inability to commit the time) several of the swaps going on dianna's swap thing. am hoping that ones like yours & fancy pin cushions, mug rugs and others are repeated this coming winter..when the snow and ice lock me in again! but for now..thank you so much for letting me learn about the most fun to make looking block i have come across on a long long time!!
