Great quilts! And your yard is a nice place to display them for us.
Wilma, I see that you are keeping very busy too.
I just sewed on the final border on one side of my Rest & Refreshing Quilt. 3 more to go!
I bought Hubby…"
"So sorry, Gail, that you have had to deal with such a tragedy. It is just awful to hear about your daughter-in-law's death and what a sad impact on your son. I hope that you can get some help to get you through. I needed some…"
"Riana, really nice quilt!
I visited my granddaughter, Amy, yesterday. She had a deviated septum corrected from a broken nose when she was younger and the shape of her nose was corrected. She has a nose cast and takes pain killers. …"
"Mary, I have a philosophy about making quilts for the future. For instance, I am making a quilt for my great-grandson, Kye, who will be 1 year old on June 1, his quilt for when he is older and sleeping in a twin or double bed. …"
"High winds last night here too. Pieces of nearby construction were flying around making a lot of noise. The power went out but it was near our bed-time anyway. But we had to get up to turn lights and T.V. off.
Linda, your WOTB…"
"Nice to hear from you Zoe. Hubby and I looked after our moms and it is something that gives us pleasure to think back on. But caregivers have to assess their own needs for well-being. You are being so good to your mother and…"
Thank you for the amazing recipe. Where did you find it? I know aspirin is not good for the stomach. I take a low dose coated one for my blood disorder every day - but never for pain. I only have 2 Tylenol 3s…"
"Oh no! Riana, I still have about 22 quilts on my list from January 2018. Today I was at QOV and I cut out a QOV.

"Thank you Barbara and Ginny,
The maker of the quilt I quilted has her décor in these colours. The quilt is for a love seat in her living room. Funny too, her mother's decor would match the quilt. It would have looked…"
"Thank you Barbara for posting photos of Dave and Cindy.
It was unfortunate that he lost some of his fingers but I have a good feeling about them. They look like a loving couple and with their family they will get through this adversity and…"
I guess it wouldn't be worthwhile to give me a couple of needles just to give me 5 more. Haha! I have had a cortisone shot in my hip but it sure wasn't like these needles. So I stretched out on our sofa in front…"
If you downloaded the pattern from her blog, it should be a file on your computer and you can just attach the file to an email. Otherwise, if you scan it to your computer, again it will have a file name and can be attached. I'm not in any hurry to start...so many other things to do and my good machine is in the shop. But thank you so much for helping me out!
The "wood grain" quilting sounds interesting, can't wait to see the whole quilt done.Remember l signed up for the free online longarm class? lt said for best results, use a computor ( instead of tablet etc.) , so l closed it, deciding to use computor later. Now it won't come up.l wonder if there was a time limit.l wish l'd taken it on the tablet, even if not as good as on computor.
Smart idea, about the mug rugs...l would never have thought of fabric gluing...l'd have probably gone to snipping/pulling out the poor handwork , washed & redone w/machine. Not likely a" profitable" use of time:)
Our reno chaos replace w/grandchild chaos,llol...they've redecorated our den w/toys.
