my very best friend had one for several years. lost him to illness. was a crushing loss for her.

and thank you for the invite. i found out by trying to message members here that the "send message" button is inaccurate in it's apparent titled usage. it actually sends friend requests. but i gladly accept :)).

if you click on a comments photo icon or aqs symbol it will take you to that members page. scrol down to bottom and you find this "comment wall" ..you will, depending on how you set up your page and delivery notices from site, recieve this note in your personal email. you also have an small box upper right corner on any page you open at mqp that shows your site email, friends etc. so you can access mail, recieve invites or whatever while cruising through the pages of my quilt place

link to a page where i wrote notes in response to "navigating site".

somewhere else i wrote on posting comments or editing comments on photos etc. if you have any questions post a status or for better response fr members (because it will stay on main page instead of passing out of view like a "status" will) click on "forum" in page header menu bar and type and post your comment, question, thoughts..favorite book ..anything. and you & all of us will see it on main page for a day or so but in sidebar to left side of main page for a long time, longer according to number of responses it gets. currently carla is champ...with 20219 views ... lol...and i don't miss any opportunity to call this fact to her attention. oh...we are friends so it is ok. friend beware...pranksters wander the quiet wending ways of our delightful little corner of the web here at My Quilt Place.

nice to meet you, and your quilt style.

"why do you quilt?" the info thingy asks.
"artistic expression"you responded.
and amazing artistry you create. maybe you could go back thru some of your more original designed quilts posted here and tell us a little about them? the hoffman challenge title on one says enough, but 0209 & "final" they are just so wonderful...would love thier story. thanks in advance.

Thanks for the encouraging comments on my new quilt, Meditation.  I have had a few quilts in shows, most recently Mancusco's shows and "Awakening" was in the Houston show.  It was pretty exciting to see my quilt hanging there!  I am working on a blog:

and tyring to figure out how to post a slideshow of some of my older quilts.

Thanks again!
