Tell us about yourself

I am fascinated by how you can create usable art in cloth. My grandmother was quilter. Upon becoming a Granny I just had to make each one their own personalized quilt for tummy time. They all live a distance from me but I know the quilts will give them the lots of cuddling from me, become a tent, retain Lego pieces, go to their first sleepovers, become a picnic cloth on a special date and possibly swaddled my great grandchildren. Quilting give especially me peace and contentment as I work. I have just started my website to sell my quilts. I am hoping others will like what they find there. I am always looking for new ideas to stitch!

I made my first one in 1975 but became serious about 8 years ago.

Still trying to find that one out.

Why do you quilt?

Obsessed with need to create items with my hands using cotton cloth.
