- Tell us about yourself
- Before starting to quilt in December 1999, I had always sewn garments and had studied tailoring and was, and still am, fascinated by couture touches. Quilting opened up a whole new world for me. In 2009, I started a longarm quilting business. I am the proud owner of a Bernina 440, Bernina 830, and a Gammill Classic Plus. Also, I have a Featherweight, a Janome Gem Gold and a Juki as well.

Hi Dana! I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside, Oregon. I never learned how to sew and made my first quilt 5 years ago when I was 45. I was just going to make one...I had no idea what I was getting myself into! I made quilts for all of my family members and wanted to keep going, so I started making them to sell and donate.
I joined this site at the end of April so I could meet other quilters; in my small town there aren't any guilds, quilting groups or classes. Anyway, I'm having a lot of fun here and hope you will too!
I just wanted to say hello and welcome!

- My fw was born May 24, 1938. I call her Genny. You should join our fw group. I found mine on Craigslist. It came with the card table which is still in beautiful condition. I have been working every weekend all spring but now wil have Saturdays off so I'm anxious to hit some garage/estate sales and find another one (or some other vintage Singer)!
