Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
Recently retired, grandmother of three. Always wanted to quilt, and first thing I did after retiring was take a beginner quilt class. I've made several table toppers and table runners, never a big quilt. I've just taken a class on appliqué and plan to do more. Currently sewing doll clothes for granddaughter and niece, will get back to quilting after the holidays.
How many quilts have you made?
One quilt, and numerous table toppers and runners as gifts.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
Both, I love seeing what others have made, so I attend every quilt show in my area. And I love the intricacies of putting together a quilt.
How long have you been a quilter?
What is your favorite quilting technique?
Just learning appliqué, and I love it!
Why do you quilt?
I've always been intrigued by putting things together, and I love watching the pieces coming together into something so beautiful.
