"Amy, our mystery is solved, the quilts finished. The pattern is copy write-protected by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr. If you want to make it, they will sell you the pattern in June 2013. See their website, funquilts, for more info."

"Good idea - I don't do enough dying to really worry about it, but I also don't use salt or bleach to put into the septic system. I do not want to pollute the ground water. The solution is to get a friend on city sewer and go dye over there!"

Hi Charlie, I am so excited I just got the lastest copy of Quilting Digest and my Sunflower quilt is featured on the back cover!!! I have been working so long trying to get some of my stuff published. I just had to tell someone who was a quilter!!! I posted it on FB but not many of them quilt so they don't get it!!LOL!! It is a free publication and you can ask your quilt shop to request copies.

Hi, Charlie!  The quilt show was wonderful.  There's a lot of talented quilters here!  I was lucky to be here from Florida at the right time, even if I missed the Tacoma show.  Went to the Farmer's Market, quilt show & a couple thrift stores on Saturday.  We'll be moving to our place near Port Ludlow next year.  Maybe we can go visit Bridget in Seaside!?

Hi Charlie!  I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside, Oregon.  I joined this site at the end of April and I'm really enjoying myself now that I've found my way around.  There are a LOT of groups to join!  I joined several so I could get to know other quilters; everyone is so friendly and helpful!  I'm in a small town without any guilds, quilting groups or classes, so I thought this would be the next best thing.

I've been quilting for about 6 years and enjoy machine piecing and quilting.  I hope you'll post some of your quilt pictures; I'd love to see some of your work!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and welcome!
