Lyn Ennis said… Hi again! I didn't realize I had blocked my FB site! I unblocked it. Hopefully that will help. I still can't get your site to show up when I type in your name. It comes up with a lot of Charlie Petersens, but none of them are you! You are truely one of a kind!!LOL!!
Lyn Ennis said… Hi Charlie, I am so excited I just got the lastest copy of Quilting Digest and my Sunflower quilt is featured on the back cover!!! I have been working so long trying to get some of my stuff published. I just had to tell someone who was a quilter!!! I posted it on FB but not many of them quilt so they don't get it!!LOL!! It is a free publication and you can ask your quilt shop to request copies.
Jeanne Jordan said… Hi, Charlie! The quilt show was wonderful. There's a lot of talented quilters here! I was lucky to be here from Florida at the right time, even if I missed the Tacoma show. Went to the Farmer's Market, quilt show & a couple thrift stores on Saturday. We'll be moving to our place near Port Ludlow next year. Maybe we can go visit Bridget in Seaside!?
Lyn Ennis said… Wow, I love your new photo! Is that your quilt behind you? I tried looking you up on face book but there are about a hunded Charlie Petersens and none of them looked like you!! What profile photo do you use on FB? Try to find me if you can, on FB.
Hi Charlie! I'm Bridget and I live in Seaside, Oregon. I joined this site at the end of April and I'm really enjoying myself now that I've found my way around. There are a LOT of groups to join! I joined several so I could get to know other quilters; everyone is so friendly and helpful! I'm in a small town without any guilds, quilting groups or classes, so I thought this would be the next best thing.
I've been quilting for about 6 years and enjoy machine piecing and quilting. I hope you'll post some of your quilt pictures; I'd love to see some of your work!
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and welcome!
