Profile Information

Tell us about yourself
I come from a family of sewers. My great grandfather and his brother came from Germany in the late 1800's and opened a tailor shop in Buffalo, NY. I was lucky to inherit a wool quilt made of the wool fabric swatches from his shop. My mother taught me to sew as a teenager. She and my grandmother and aunt were all prolific sewers. After putting sewing aside for many years to get my medical training, I started quilting in 2001 and have been passionate about it ever since.
