If you can picture 8 blocks not all the same size done in fabric and some done in acrylic paints on canvas. My challenge is to place them in an interesting setting. At first I was all over the idea of making a scene of the valley with great mountain views, rivers, skiers, etc, then as things progressed, I began to see something…

hey!! i would love to hang out too! bit late tonight, but maybe we can team up over a cup tea soon..herbal, coffee puts me to sleep!! hahahahah go figger! in fact just been sittin' w dh watching the idiot box...news etc..sipping on a mug of bedtime ice coffee. so herbal tea...or wine...? ..you name the time and place...we can chill.. and hang.. t'will be cool.

i read your bio before, but i have to comment...i too am pretty much self taught..took a rotary cutter class in mid 80's, a class fr sally collins in late 90's and about the same time a class in color theory from another fav author whose name eludes me right now. the first few yrs after i took that rotary cutter class on strip piecing quilts, dh was buying me books and scissors for bday, mday, xmas ...whatever excuse he found..fr my friend who had the store where i abruptly switched fr buying yarn and knitting accessories to fabric and quilting supplies...i would tell her which book i wanted and she would "suggest" them to dh..we had such a great scam going there for a few!! lollol..but i was getting books on how to...draft q patterns, machine quilting, hand quilting, early american methods of quilt block designing..etc etc and none of them are in print any more..they are such treasures..full of knowledge & information...no patterns..

anyway..thanks for the invite...& yah..we def got to get together & hang out a bit!

i have sooooooo much experience on international hangin' sessions! lollollollol i truely do ..
