"I'd like to join the group please. I would love to make something for a mom who has lost a baby though miscarriage or by fetal demise. It is so sad. I think a quilt can bring warmth and comfort.  "

Hi Claire Mann-Fredricks here from the Baby Blanket Brigade. It will be a great to have you. When your mom had her miscarriage no one reconized the death. I am trying to get us together to help those that have had that kind of loss has a way of remembering.  Send me a stamped self addressed envelope for a miscarriage pouch instruction or send any donations. I will be expanding the quilts and designs in the future. Any and all donations will be appreciated. Thank you  for caring spirit. God's Blessings

Good morning Candis. CMQ stands for Columbus Metropolitan Quilters. When we lived there the guild was divided into smaller groups that met at different times, places, etc. I don't know how they do it now. One of the groups on the north end was the Crazy Quilters. I belonged to that group. We used to meet on Wednesday evenings and we took turns hosting it. We used to live on Kelso in Clintonville. After we moved there I realized that there was a quilt shop at the end of our street, on High Street. I used to walk there with all three of our sons in a wagon. The shop has been closed for a long time now. Thank you for the wonderful compliment. I love quilting. Do you hand or machine quilt? Have a great day.
