What am I working on

I've been working on Finger Lakes Log Cabin from Judy Martin's Log Cabin Quilts...have the blocks sewn together, now to get the border strips sewn together.  Also have been working on Celtic Crystals block of the month from Superior Threads as the blocks arrive.  This is a first B of M I've done and is fun.See More

"Sonjia....I do as little hand sewing as possible....I machine appliqued all the pieces onto the blocks.  I used light Wonder Under to attach the pieces to the background, the blue sky....but you could do hand applique if that is what you…"

I was raised in Saskatchewan, worked in Alberta and am retired in BC. I belong to the local guild where there are many very skilled quilters. Besides quilting I like to read, play Scrabble on the internet. We have a Jack Russel dog that I walk daily as well as do yoga.

ove to see them, and reading the comments and reactions to your other quilts by members here, i am sure that others wouldn't mind a little short cyber journey to another site to enjoy the veauty of more of your quilts.

when i first started doing photos on the net i had the very same issues with trying to show pic one place & not having item to retake photo of, trying to "cut & paste" from postong on another photo sharing site. finally learned some tricks that worked. i might be able to help you.
