Happy Birthday, Betty.  Hope your day is delightful.  I am called grannie too.  Don't hear that much.

HI Betty,

My name if Sandy Merchant. I noticed that you are a fellow Texan. I live in Bogata, Texas (near Paris, Texas). I am new to MY Quilt Place. Reading your profile, I notice we have a lot in common. I started sewing when I was so little that I sat on my Mothers lap to reach the machine. I also do machine embroidery, but enjoy quilting more. I am trying to do my first paper pieced quilt and may never get it done. Its a block of the month and each square has numerous little pieces. Not a good one to do my first paper piecing on. Not even sure I'm doing it right.

I also like to crochet and read. I have an extremely spoiled tiny toy poodle who takes a great deal of my time because she demands it.

If you think you might like to communicate with me, I would like to be added to your friend list.

God bless.
