Shopped this weekend for fabric for my granddaughter's wedding quilt. She's getting married in May, have to have this done by February. My friend and long-arm quilter, Vicki, suggested the pattern Take Five and was kind enough to up-size (is that a word?) it from twin to queen.
SO, since I was out of town and had a different fabric store to go to, I did! And I found all these great fabrics...what do you think? Lexi wanted a black and white quilt, with maybe a touch of teal or…

Got the squares and border sewn on my (hopefully) last baby boy quilt, made with Moda's Bungle Jungle charm packs. I fully intended to use my new Twister tool to deconstruct this, but thankfully before I began I realized it would have been a wall hanging if I did that. SO - just another run-of-the-mill (where did that saying come from) baby quilt. Planned to sandwich it and begin quilting it today but...well, it was a challenging day, to say the least.
