Yes Nancy, It was shown at NQA and I won Viewers Choice. I was so excited to win this prize at such a nice show. Thank you very much for writing.

This is a very beautiful quilt. Was it at the NQA show in Columbus, Ohio last year? I went to the show and thought I remembered seeing it. The colors are so vibrant. Great job.

You are so welcome Nancy. I looked at your quilts and I had no idea you were new to quilting. They are beautiful. For a "newbie" you are doing incredible work! Keep it up!

I love it even more as you described the process.  As a new quilter, applique is a goal I aspire to.  Thanks for the feedback and inspiration.

Thank you very much Nancy. This quilt was never at the Pacific International Quilt Festival. It was shown at the Road to California Show. The quilt is entirely turned edge applique using my hand dyed and hand marbled fabrics including a one piece hand dyed back. It took me about 3,500 hours to make this quilt without figuring the dyeing time.

Your quilt is gorgeous.  Was it at the Pacific International Quilt Festival? Is it paper piecing? Did you create the design?
