This is the 1st quilt that I made. I embroidered my sisters name & her birthdate and put it in the center of the quilt, then I put the names & birthdates of all 5 of her children and placed them around her, the i did the name & birthdates of all her grandchildren and put them around her children. All together there were 17 names & birthdates. I did this about a year ago & since then a grandson and a great granddaughter was added to her growing family.
